More Quarters
Focus: New Apartments
This project was about evolution - taking what already worked beautifully at More Quarters and making it even better. As Group General Manager, I oversaw everything from the property purchase and planning submissions to appointing the professional team, managing budgets, and opening the doors to the new apartments.
The goal was to build on the success of the existing concept, using past learnings to modernise and refine the guest experience. The new apartments not only lifted the overall offering but also set the design direction for future upgrades across the property.
Project Highlights:
Added four new apartments to the portfolio.
Modernised and refined the design intent and finishes.
Improved the functionality and comfort of the guest experience.
Established new standards later rolled out across the rest of the property.
Retained the warm, residential feel that defines the More Quarters brand.
Challenges:
The biggest challenge was modernising without losing character. We wanted the upgrades to feel seamless - an evolution rather than a departure - which meant being thoughtful about every design choice to preserve that welcoming, homely feel guests had come to love.
